About the role

The Compliance and Quality Assurance Associate supports the compliance program and quality assurance initiatives, ensuring successful completion of tasks related to technical work, assigned projects, and operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Process inbound grievances and facilitate outlined policy steps to resolve identified issues
  • Support the development of organizational policies and procedures associated with quality, compliance, privacy, and security
  • Initiate randomized and customer service/grievance-related provider audits
  • Monitor Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) for network providers, as needed
  • Serve as an active participant in product enhancement projects associated with governance and compliance
  • Assist in identifying and resolving process issues and make recommendations for continuous quality improvement
  • Support compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements as well as governing policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned or necessary

Requirements

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; proficiency in English may be required
  • Ability to document reports clearly and concisely
  • Computer proficiency
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus

Skills

Ability to effectively elicit and provide information, observe details at close range (e.g., on a computer screen), and exchange accurate information in professional settings.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain at your designated workstation for the duration of the workday
  • Constant operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery (e.g., phone, VoIP)

Schedule

This is a remote position within the United States. Candidates must have a reliable internet connection and a designated work environment conducive to professional phone calls and handling sensitive data.
