Compliance Operations Specialist

Position Summary

Flynn Group is seeking a highly proactive, detail-oriented Compliance Operations Specialist (Legal and HR) to support the Compliance team. This role is critical to ensuring compliant operations at scale across thousands of employees and locations nationwide with diverse regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Data gathering, document collection, and response coordination
• Audit tracking and status reporting
• Drafting initial responses for Legal Department review
• Safety Compliance & OSHA Support
• Support OSHA investigations and workplace safety compliance efforts
• Fact gathering and document collection
• Initial responses to OSHA inquiries, complaints, inspections, and agency requests
• Legal Research & Policy Support
• Own project management for compliance initiatives
• Maintain and monitor compliance trackers, dashboards, and deadlines
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders
• Lead coordination and execution of compliance meetings
• Prepare and analyze compliance reports
• Create effective visual presentations and materials for a broad audience
• Develop, maintain, and optimize tracking tools and reporting systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• 2–5 years of experience in compliance, legal operations, HR compliance, risk management, or a regulatory environment
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with data tracking, reporting, and analysis
• Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and a love for learning and problem solving
