Compliance Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Security Compliance Specialist to support cybersecurity compliance and governance with an emphasis on regulatory adherence and control validation. This position bridges compliance and security operations, requiring foundational technical skills to maintain audit readiness and control effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with frameworks such as NYDFS 500, NIST CSF, and CIS
• Perform evidence collection and validate security controls (e.g., MFA enforcement and log retention)
• Collaborate with Security Engineers, Legal, and third-party assessors
• Maintain governance documentation and ensure timely completion of compliance activities

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of cybersecurity experience
• Proficiency in log analysis and cloud security fundamentals
• Familiarity with GRC platforms
• Certifications such as Security+ or CCSP preferred

Pay

The pay range for this position is $40.00–$45.00/hr. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Schedule

Hybrid: 3 days onsite (Tuesday–Thursday) in Milwaukee, WI; secondary locations include Merrill, WI and Madison, WI.
