Compliance Officer

About the role

Christian Financial Credit Union began more than 75 years ago as St. Jude Parish Credit Union in Detroit and has since grown to serve more than 60,000 members with over $1 billion in assets. Membership is open to anyone living in the State of Michigan. The credit union offers high-quality, high-value products and services, including ownership of a mortgage company and a commercial loan company, and after merging with Catholic Vantage Financial in July 2025 continues to grow with the promise of Everyday Easy®.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and ensure the Credit Union complies with State and Federal laws and regulations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs.
• Assess the effectiveness of compliance programs.
• Support product and service development by identifying opportunities in current and future implementations to streamline procedures and improve ease‑of‑access for members.
• Support training and education initiatives to disseminate critical regulatory changes and requirements.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have three or more years of financial service compliance experience and must hold a bachelor's degree in a Business‑related field.
