About the role
As the Compliance Manager, you will ensure the company adheres to regulatory standards and customer requirements through audits, policy development, and risk mitigation strategies. Drive compliance while promoting a culture of accountability within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare for and manage onsite audits, including hosting external customer and regulatory auditors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to quality and compliance.
- Develop and conduct training sessions for employees on quality systems, regulatory standards, and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance trends to ensure adherence to new and changing laws.
- Develop, implement, and monitor QMS in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working in a quality role in the aviation industry.
- Working knowledge of regulatory standards in relation to FAA requirements.
- Working knowledge of industry quality management systems such as AS9100 or ISO9000.
- Experience in coordinating/conducting audits and managing corrective actions.
- Ability to collect and interpret information to make data-based decisions that drive improvement.
- Experience working with internal and external customers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, focus, and results orientation.
- Problem-solving skills with critical thinking and prioritization abilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an organization with ODA designation (not required).
