Brief Description PING is currently seeking students who have a combined passion for data, sustainability, compliance, and the game of golf. An opportunity exists to join our Compliance team for a summer internship in 2027. This position requires the candidate to reside in the Phoenix Metro Area. High-level job duties include supporting the Compliance team in collecting, analyzing, and managing data to support packaging sustainability and regulatory compliance initiatives. The intern will assist with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), packaging data analysis, regulatory research, compliance reporting, and process improvement. Minimum qualifications include 2 years of accredited math or science coursework combined with general experience in and knowledge of golf. Specific Skills Required For This Internship Are Listed Below Strong data analysis and visualization skills, particularly using Excel and Power BI. Experience with R is a plus.Experience working with and managing structured datasets; familiarity with SQL Server and/or Azure SQL is preferred.Experience with data preparation, data pipelines, and ETL processes; knowledge of Python is a plus.Strong familiarity with Microsoft tools, particularly Excel and SharePoint.Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps, is strongly preferred.Understanding packaging materials, recyclability, recycled content, packaging data, and EPR reporting requirements is a plus.Strong research, analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable compliance activities.Enthusiastic about AI and eager to explore its applications (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and other large language models) Additional Information A minimum of 2 years of college coursework must be completed by the time you begin your internshipYou must be willing to dedicate at least 8 weeks (40 hours per week) to the internshipThis internship requires you to be onsite in Phoenix, Arizona PING will be accepting applications through October 16 with interviews and final selections by year end.
