Compliance Intern

About the Role
The Compliance Coordinator serves as a member of the compliance team committed to excellence and advancing the vision of the University of Georgia Athletic Association. This position works with the compliance staff to implement NCAA, SEC, and institutional regulations, focusing on monitoring areas specific to Bylaws 11-17. The role involves handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring of personnel documentation, recruiting documentation, playing and practice seasons, student-athlete housing, vehicles, employment, and other assigned monitoring duties (80% of time).
- Other duties as assigned (20% of time).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree; Juris Doctor or Master’s Degree preferred.
- Entry-level, career-based internship intended for applicants with 6 to 24 months of practical experience.
- Experience in an athletic compliance setting at an institutional, conference, or national association level is desired.

Schedule
Monday through Friday, office hours will vary. This is a part-time position with an FTE of .725.
