About the role

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day regulatory advice to private fund clients, particularly SEC-registered investment advisers and related alternative investment platforms.
- Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
- Serve in an Outsourced CCO or senior compliance advisory capacity for select clients.
- Oversee annual reviews, compliance testing, risk assessments, and regulatory filings including Form ADV updates.
- Serve as a point of contact for SEC examinations, regulatory inquiries, and evolving compliance obligations.
- Partner directly with senior management and legal teams to deliver pragmatic, business-oriented compliance solutions.
Qualifications
- 8 - 15+ years of compliance experience within private funds, investment advisers, alternative asset managers, or a leading compliance consultancy.
- Deep knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the regulatory framework applicable to private funds and registered advisers.
- Experience serving as an Outsourced CCO or in a senior client-facing compliance advisory role is strongly preferred.
- Broad exposure to broker-dealer, registered fund, CFTC/NFA, or related regulatory regimes is a plus.
- JD, advanced degree, or relevant industry licenses are advantageous but not required.
