Compliance Attorney (FDA Regulation Experience)
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Attorney to provide flexible, part-time support for a pharmaceutical/biotech organization following unexpected team changes. This role offers meaningful, high-impact work supporting a product in a highly competitive market.
About the role
A major focus will be serving as a legal/compliance reviewer for promotional materials, partnering closely with Marketing and other cross-functional stakeholders. The broader scope may include healthcare compliance counseling, contract review and negotiation, and additional compliance projects as needs arise.
This project starts ASAP and is ongoing until more permanent support is identified. The role is fully remote and flexible with timing, though attorneys must be available for standing one-hour meetings Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. Eastern.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a legal/compliance reviewer for promotional materials
- Partner with Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliance
- Provide healthcare compliance counseling
- Review and negotiate contracts
- Support additional compliance projects as needs arise
- Exercise judgment, push back when needed, and help business partners find practical, compliant solutions
Requirements
- Direct pharmaceutical/biotech promotional review or PRC experience
- Strong knowledge of recent FDA promotional regulations and healthcare compliance requirements
- Veeva Promo Materials experience (highly helpful)
Pay
The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $110 and $130, based on qualifications, skillset, relevant experience, client needs, and project requirements.
