Compliance Analyst I - Master Servicing

About the role

This position provides support to the master servicing teams at all levels involving compliance and securitization transactions. This job requires in-office work 1-2 times per week.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain Servicers’ current Certificates of Insurance for Errors and Omissions and Fidelity Bond and update our tracking system accordingly.
  • Obtain officer and witness signatures, notaries, etc. on closing documents for Master Servicing new deals and provide to Counsel.
  • Affirm final closing documents and the filing of master servicing deal documents.
  • Manage workflow with Vendor and QC Transaction Summaries and contractual fields uploaded into Master Servicing Deals Database.
  • Perform Quality Control (QC) of Vendor’s Transaction Summaries prior to uploading into Master Servicing Deals Database.
  • Maintain IDC ratings and Rating Agency ratings for all Depository Institutions utilized by primary Servicers.
  • Monitor Projects Database to ensure staff are adding their hours into the database in a timely manner.
  • Run weekly reports to validate the hours and billing.
  • Submit monthly billing to Servicing.
  • Monitor MS Compliance Group Mailbox and respond to inquiries.
  • Work with management and provide timely responses to auditors, attorneys, and business leaders before, during and after a master servicing audit.
  • Review master servicing pooling and servicing agreements and effectively interpret requirements affecting compliance.
  • Manage Master Servicing Deals Database and Deals Database for contractual provisions.
  • Responsible for MS Compliance’s monthly and quarterly whole loan reporting.
  • Work with management team on projects that require a review of master servicing governing agreements.
  • Collect and review annual compliance documents from primary servicers, e.g., financial statements, officer certifications, Reg AB and/or USAP audit certifications.
  • Maintain department policies and procedures for designated areas of responsibility.
  • May perform other related duties or ad hoc projects.
  • Affirm Reps and Warrants as required within securitization deal documents, including sending repurchase notices, as needed.

Requirements

Education & Professional Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred and typically does not require previous professional level work experience. Mortgage and/or Financial Services experience a plus. High School diploma or state approved equivalency required.

Pay

$48,500.00-$88,000.00

Schedule

Hybrid Role - Must live within a commutable distance to the Highlands Ranch, CO office for in-office responsibilities. 2 days onsite weekly after training (typically Mon/Tues).
