Compliance Analyst
Location: Salt Lake City, UT (also Draper, UT) / New York City, NY
About the role
We're hiring a Compliance Analyst to help build and run our BSA/AML/OFAC program. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to work close to the transaction data investigating alerts, spotting patterns, and turning findings into action while helping shape how a compliance program gets built from the ground up at a fast-moving fintech. You'll work directly with senior compliance leadership, giving you visibility and influence well beyond a typical analyst seat. This role is a strong fit for someone who wants ownership early in their career: you'll help define the processes, not just follow them, and you'll have room to bring AI-powered tools into how the work gets done from day one.
What success looks like in your first year:
- Independently manage a caseload of BSA/AML/OFAC alerts and investigations, from initial review through UAR filing.
- Become the go-to point of contact for day-to-day BSA/AML/OFAC compliance operations.
- Identify and help close at least one meaningful gap in monitoring coverage or process.
- Build a trusted, responsive working relationship with our partner bank and stakeholders.
- Bring AI tools into your workflow in a way that measurably speeds up investigations or reporting.
- Contribute analysis or reporting that shapes a real decision made by compliance leadership.
- Demonstrate you can flex into adjacent compliance work as needed, not just your core caseload.

- Assist with ad hoc risk assessments and internal audits as needed.
- Help build out processes and documentation for new or evolving compliance areas where none yet exist.
