About the Role

Explore a variety of careers in insurance with EMC through a paid twelve‑week Summer 2027 internship in the Complex/Specialty Claims Departments. Interns receive training, job shadowing, and the chance to work on special projects while developing industry knowledge and transferable skills. The program includes networking with executives, mentorship, cross‑department exposure, and community volunteering. Successful interns are invited to apply for full‑time positions. This position is eligible to work from home anywhere in the United States.

Essential Functions

• Participate in training and job shadowing of claims processes.
• Complete special projects related to complex and specialty claims.

Education & Experience

• Completion of junior year in a Business, insurance, or related major.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to work independently.
• Naturally curious with strong investigative skills.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Analytical ability to solve problems.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Copilot.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Pay

The hiring salary range for this position varies based on geographic location, falling within $19.50‑$23.00 per hour. The actual salary will depend on education, skills, experience, location, and business needs.
