Complex Litigation Associate Attorney

Transportation Litigation Attorney - Madison, NJ (Hybrid) A national law firm is seeking a Transportation Litigation Attorney to join its Madison, New Jersey office. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex transportation and logistics litigation matters for a large international logistics services provider. The role involves handling challenging litigation, advising clients on evolving legal and regulatory issues, and collaborating with attorneys across multiple offices in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution under the guidance of senior attorneysConduct legal research and analysis related to transportation laws, regulations, and industry standardsDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation documentsAttend and participate in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiationsPrepare case assessments and strategic recommendations for client stakeholdersDevelop proactive resolution strategies and provide practical legal counselCollaborate with attorneys and professionals across offices and practice groups Qualifications J.D. from an ABA-accredited law schoolAdmission to practice in New Jersey3-8 years of general casualty litigation experienceExperience handling depositions and motion practiceTransportation, logistics, trucking, or related regulatory experience preferredExperience with emerging e-commerce or gig economy legal issues is a plusTrial experience preferredStrong analytical, writing, advocacy, and communication skillsStrong technical proficiency Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $150,000-$190,000Eligibility for discretionary bonusesComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance401(k) retirement savings planGenerous paid time offFlexible hybrid work arrangement Why Consider This Opportunity?
