Join us as a Complex Claims Director – International Casualty to play your part in transforming the way we help customers manage risk. This is an opportunity to grow your skills and experience as a valued member of the team.
Responsibilities
- Handle wrongful death auto claims in Europe
- Handle premises liability claims in Asia
- Handle oil fields losses in Latin America
- Handle large product claims in the United States for insureds in Asia Pacific
- Manage claims for bodily injury and property damage under Commercial General Liability policies
- Work with AIG offices or network partners in the claim location
- Assess liability and damages
- Set timely and accurate reserves
- Present large value cases to senior management
- Conduct Claim Reviews of foreign claims and present them in understandable terms for USA-based Risk Managers
Requirements
- Proven Complex/GL claims handling experience
- Excellent customer service skills in communicating with insureds, brokers, attorneys, and claimants
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Ability to travel to mediations and/or trials
- Ability to work independently
- Some travel is required for attendance at trials and mediations as well as account meetings and claim reviews
- Foreign language skills would be highly valued

Pay
The base salary range for this position varies based on location:
- New York: $93,000 - $130,000
- Jersey City: $96,000 - $129,000
- Chicago: $104,600 - $127,600
Schedule
Our team members are primarily in the office, fostering an environment of in-person collaboration and support.
