Job Type Full-time Description Fervo is working to build the most cost-effective, repeatable geothermal power plants in the world. Delivering on this mission requires first-of-a-kind well designs, disciplined execution in the field, and continuous learning across the full well lifecycle. Joining Fervo’s Operations organization means operating where subsurface innovation meets real-world execution, with safety, reliability, and capital efficiency as non-negotiables. We are seeking an entry-level Completions Engineer who is excited by Fervo’s mission and eager to build a career at the intersection of well design and field execution. This role is designed to provide comprehensive training and development for new graduates or engineers with 0–2 years of experience. It begins with a structured training period at our Houston headquarters, followed by a 14/14 rotation at our field operations in Utah, where the successful candidate will work alongside experienced completions and intervention personnel on live operations. After gaining hands-on field experience as a Well Site Completions Engineer, the candidate will return to Houston as an Operations Completions Engineer. The Completions Engineer (Entry Level) supports the technical design, planning, and execution of Fervo’s geothermal well completions, stimulations, and workover activities. Working under the direction of Senior Completions Engineers, this role assists in preparing completion programs and procedures, monitors and analyzes operational data, helps troubleshoot issues as they arise in the field, and supports compliance with safety and environmental standards. This is a development role built around progressive responsibility. The candidate will be exposed to the full well lifecycle — from completion design and stimulation through intervention and optimization — and will work closely with subsurface, drilling, production, and facilities teams.
