Role Overview
As a Competitive Intelligence (CI) Analyst, you are responsible for transforming market noise into actionable signals that drive strategic decisions. You will predict competitor actions and provide critical insights to sales, product, and leadership teams to ensure they are always prepared.
Market Monitoring & Synthesis
- Establish persona-based insights for stakeholders to track competitor moves, messaging shifts, and pricing strategies.
- Develop and maintain an AI-driven CI platform to enhance market monitoring capabilities.
Strategic Analysis
- Conduct SWOT analyses and win/loss interviews to identify market gaps and emerging threats.
- Perform capabilities analysis to inform product roadmaps and competitive feature parity.
Sales Enablement
- Develop high-impact competitive enablement materials and key “Just say this” points for product “how to sell” guides.
- Provide strategic perspective to improve win rates in the field.
Product Liaison
- Partner with Product Management to influence roadmaps based on competitive feature parity and whitespace opportunities.
- Optimize the Crayon tool to ensure sales teams have the necessary resources.
About You
- Deep domain expertise in cybersecurity with 3+ years in Competitive Intelligence, Market Research, or Product Marketing.
- Fueled by curiosity and skilled at uncovering non-obvious insights from secondary research and primary interviews.
- Proven experience in technical sales enablement, developing and delivering effective training and tools.
- A self-motivated storyteller capable of turning complex data into compelling presentations.
- Highly collaborative, low-ego, and easy to work with, recognizing the importance of partnership and cross-functional alignment.
