About the role
As a key member of the Data Management team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex data warehousing solutions using Teradata SQL. You will also be involved in the development and optimization of ETL processes, ensuring high performance and scalability.Responsibilities
- Design and implement data warehousing solutions using Teradata SQL
- Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure high performance and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Perform database administration tasks including backup, recovery, and monitoring
- Participate in project planning, execution, and post-project reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in data warehousing and ETL development
- Experience with Teradata SQL and ETL tools such as Talend or Informatica
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and technologies
- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Teradata SQL
- Experience with data modeling and normalization techniques
- Understanding of data warehousing architecture and design patterns
- Experience with data quality and cleansing tools
