COMPETITIVE DANCE HEAD COACH

Responsibilities

• Developing a comprehensive program that promotes accountability, commitment, personal development, goal setting, teamwork, summer/off-season expectations, and academic excellence.
• Setting a clear vision for the program's long-term success, aligned with the values of Prospect Athletics.
• Planning and leading organized, efficient, and purposeful practices focused on skill development and team strategy.
• Recruiting, mentoring, and supervising assistant coaches.
• Establishing and maintaining open lines of communication with the community, parents, players, and administration.
• Collaborating with athletic trainers and support staff to prioritize athlete health, safety, and well-being.
• Fostering a positive, driven, and inclusive team culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Supporting Prospect Athletics and demonstrating a commitment to the broader athletic community.
• Organizing and overseeing all team activities, including athlete recruitment and off-season programming.
• Assisting with fundraising efforts and promoting the program within the school and community.
• Utilizing technology, film, and data analytics to evaluate performance and enhance player development.
• Ensuring compliance with D214, MSL, and IHSA policies and procedures.
