Your Role in Our Mission
As the Compensation Specialist, you will support ESPH’s compensation strategy by developing and maintaining salary structures, conducting market analyses, and ensuring all job descriptions are accurate and compliant. You will partner with leaders across the agency to develop/update position descriptions, administer compensation programs, and provide data-driven insights.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of Human Resources experience, including 2 years in compensation analysis or compensation program administration
- Experience with compensation benchmarking, salary structures, and job evaluation
- PayScale experience preferred
- Knowledge of FLSA, pay equity, and compensation compliance
- Experience in multi-site, healthcare, or human services environment a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred; CCP a plus
- Proficiency with Excel and HRIS systems (UKG strongly preferred)
- Strong communication and partnership skills
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data
- Valid, unrestricted NC driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current vehicle insurance required
