Compensation Operations Specialist
About the role
This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. How You Will Make An Impact
- Partners closely with the Compensation Center of Excellence to enhance, implement, and manage compensation programs, ensuring compliance, effective delivery and continuous improvement.
- Oversees both escalated and routine employee compensation-related inquiries, transactions, and issue resolution.
- Drives program effectiveness through auditing, testing, identifying improvements, and implementing enhancements.
- Manage and support the annual merit and bonus cycle, providing system testing and readiness, and support for leaders through the process.
- Manage and support the enterprise Quarterly Incentive Program (QIP) to include end-to-end administration, driving system optimization (design, testing, implementation, and enhancing), monitoring trends to drive improvements, and providing consultation and guidance to business leaders.
- Assists with major compensation data changes at the time of a merger or acquisition, annual market pricing job changes, incentive plan data changes, or other mass data changes using the Workday EIB process.
- Maintains compensation systems, tools, and processes, leveraging complex data analysis to identify trends and recommending strategic improvements.
- Coaches, mentors, and trains other team members, while championing process optimization, automation, and documentation to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
Minimum Requirements
Requires BA/BS in HR, business or related discipline and a minimum of 3 years' experience in compensation and/or HR Operations; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, And Experiences
- Experience with Workday Compensation modules highly preferred.
- Experience in operations and customer service roles with strong understanding of HRIS and technology applications.
- Healthcare and/or insurance industry experience, effective organization and attention to detail, and knowledge of business financial terms strongly preferred.
Pay
For candidates working in person or virtually in Illinois or Virginia, the salary range for this specific position is $70,800 to $116,820.
