We're Hiring: Senior Compensation Manager Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential Extension) Pay rate: $50/hr on w2 This role will be hybrid a large portion will be focused on manufacturing for both union and non-union hourly populations, plus salaried (Sr Director and below) Multi-site manufacturing organizations with varying compensation strategies and complexities. We're seeking an experienced Senior Compensation Manager to join a leading global organization and play a key role in shaping compensation strategy across North America Operations and Procurement. Reporting to the Director of North America & WHQ Compensation, this position will provide expert guidance and consultation to HR Business Partners and Business Leaders on a range of compensation-related matters, including job evaluations, market benchmarking, job offers, salary structure development, and incentive plan design and administration. To succeed in this role, candidates must possess a unique blend of analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations. Annual salary structure redesign US and Canada. Hourly incentive plan effectiveness, and payout efficiency. Support for HR leadership, Influence Operations/Commercial Leadership. Market Analytics/Insights. Annual Salary Planning Administration. Cross-functional stakeholder management What You'll Do Lead annual salary planning and incentive compensation cyclesDevelop and administer compensation programs for both the salaried and hourly populationsRedesign salary structures across the U.S. and CanadaPartner with HR Business Partners and business leaders on compensation strategyConduct job evaluations, market pricing, and salary benchmarkingDesign and administer compensation programs for both hourly and salaried employeesDrive compensation process improvements and ensure market competitivenessInfluence cross-functional stakeholders and support strategic business initiatives What We're Looking For 5+ years of compensation experience with in-depth knowledge of Operations and Plant ManufacturingBachelor s degree required, MBA or equivalent degree preferredStrong experience supporting manufacturing and operations organizationsExpertise with hourly, salaried, union, and non-union populationsExperience with salary structures, market analytics, incentive plans, and job evaluationsAdvanced Excel and compensation analytics skillsKorn Ferry Hay Job Evaluation experience is strongly preferredCCP certification and people management experience are a plusPeople Management experience is strongly preferredIn depth technical knowledge of compensation theories and principles, compensation program design, and applicable lawsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to manage cross-functional projects and influence team members without direct managerial authoritySolutions-oriented mindset with a desire to innovateKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related softwareCertified Compensation Professional (CCP) or other HR certification preferred
