About the role

Elara Caring Hospice is a provider of home-based care, one of the nation's largest providers. They are currently seeking volunteers who can donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local hospice patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Listen to and support hospice patients and their families
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Engage in activities that may include pet therapy or crafting

Requirements

• No special skills required
• An open heart and willingness to listen

Qualifications

• Flexible availability to offer 1-2 hours per week
• Willingness to travel to various locations including Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Wayland/Hastings, Greenville, Rockford, Holland, and Saugatuck/Douglas
