Korn Ferry's Compass Rotational Consulting Program is designed for Big 4 and public accounting professionals seeking to broaden their experience, accelerate their careers, and explore various career paths before committing to a long-term role in industry.
Responsibilities
- Complete a series of high-impact projects across diverse clients including public, private, PE-backed, VC-backed, and founder-led organizations.
- Build skills in technical accounting, reporting, operational finance, and project management.
- Gain exposure to CFOs, Controllers, and executive-level finance teams early in your career.
- Explore multiple accounting and finance career paths while maintaining structured learning, mentorship, and coaching.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 2+ years of public accounting experience
- CPA is preferred
- A self-starter mindset with curiosity, adaptability, and a drive to learn
- Excellent communication, client service, and relationship-building skills
- Flexibility and desire to explore different pathways before committing to a long-term direction
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (advanced degree preferred)
- Experience: 2+ years of public accounting experience
- Professional certification: CPA preferred
