Companionship Volunteer Needed

About the role

Volunteers will provide companionship to patients at home or in long-term care facilities. This includes activities such as reading, talking, writing letters, sharing personal stories, and offering respite to caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients at home or in long-term care facilities
• Engage in activities that promote companionship and emotional support
• Provide respite to caregivers

Requirements

• Must be in or near Kansas City, MO
• Available on weekdays (daytime, evenings) and weekends (daytime)
• Commitment of 1 to 2 hours bi-weekly

Qualifications

• Driver’s License
• Background Check
• Attend Orientation
