About the role
Residential Hospice is seeking volunteers to provide companionship to patients at home or in long-term care facilities. Duties may include visiting patients, reading to them, writing letters, sharing personal stories, and offering respite to caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Visit patients at home or in long-term care facilities
- Engage in activities such as reading, talking, writing letters, sharing personal stories, and providing respite to caregivers
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during visits
Requirements
- Driver’s License
- Background Check
- Attend Orientation
Qualifications
- Age 18+
- Good For: Age 55+
