Allaire Rehab and Nursing is a newly renovated nursing home seeking a Companion Male Aide to be part of our growing team.

• Shifts: 7am–3pm and 3pm–11pm

Responsibilities

• Assist with front desk duties as needed
• Pass ice waters each shift
• Pass snacks as needed
• Maintain neat rooms, including:
  • Making beds
  • Ensuring new admission rooms have essential needs (call-bells, remotes, fully made beds with pillows, etc.)
• Assist new admissions in feeling at home (unpacking, gathering clothing for labeling)
• Accompany residents on appointments or outings
• Maintain open communication between clients and their families as a liaison
• Provide 1:1 companionship if assigned
• Assist during mealtime with passing, feeding, and collecting trays

Requirements

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and special needs clients with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
