About the role
The Massachusetts Port Authority is seeking a Terminal Utility Person (Bargaining Unit, Local No. 25) to support airport safety and security, perform facility and grounds maintenance, respond to emergencies, and provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Monitor controlled access areas and maintain awareness of activities impacting operational integrity.
- Perform facility and grounds maintenance activities to ensure clean, safe, and well-maintained airport environments year-round.
- Respond to emergencies, changing operational needs, and maintenance issues with professionalism, adaptability, and sound judgment.
- Provide exceptional customer service while collaborating effectively with supervisors, public safety agencies, regulatory partners, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Ability to read and demonstrate basic oral, written, mathematical, and manual skills.
- Valid and current driver's license, unrestricted except for corrective lenses required.
- Previous customer service, safety, and security experience preferred.
