Companion Care Aide

Join a family-oriented team dedicated to the mission of providing quality care to seniors at Woodland Heights Senior Living. As a highly valued member of our team, you'll play a key role in providing heartfelt and meaningful care to our seniors.

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with non-medical care, medication or activity reminders, and one-on-one companionship.
• Aid residents with personal hygiene and mobility, prioritizing their well-being and ensuring they maintain their dignity and independence.
• Assist with resident laundry, ensuring every resident that uses the service gets their items back cleaned and neatly folded.

Requirements

• Maintain the community's mission and vision statement.
• Understand and follow the resident's service plan.
• Have good communication skills.
• Maintain confidentiality with resident and fellow employee's information.
• Be capable of washing, drying, folding, and returning laundry to the correct resident.
• Notify management of any changes in resident's condition.
• Be reliable and consistent in following work schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or any other management staff.
