Allaire Rehab and Nursing is a newly renovated nursing home seeking Companion Aides to be part of our growing team.

Pay

Salary: $16 an hour. Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) school with tuition paid ($2,500 savings), leading to a pay increase to $20.

Schedule

• All shifts available: 7am–3pm, 3pm–11pm, and 11pm–7am
• Weekend shifts available

Responsibilities

• Assist with front desk duties as needed
• Pass ice waters and snacks each shift
• Maintain neat rooms, ensuring new admission rooms have essential needs (call-bells, remotes, fully made beds with pillows, etc.)
• Assist new admissions in feeling at home (unpacking, gathering clothing for labeling)
• Accompany residents on appointments or outings
• Maintain open communication between clients and their families as a liaison
• Provide 1:1 companionship if assigned
• Assist during meal times with passing, feeding, and collecting trays

Requirements

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and special needs clients with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
