Compact, Lightweight JM-1000™ Water Jet Saves Contractor Time, Trouble & Money
“The compact size makes it great for one-man operation – and it’s perfect for much of the work I do!” That’s Craig Casteen on the lightweight JM-1000 Mini-Jet™ from General Pipe Cleaners. Owner of Casteen Plumbing & Repair in Rose Hill, NC, Casteen often works in tight spaces like crawl spaces beneath homes and cramped kitchen areas.
About the Product
The JM-1000 Mini-Jet is a compact, lightweight, electric-powered water jet designed for clearing grease, sand, and ice from small lines (1-1/2” to 3”) up to 50 feet long. It delivers 1500 psi of cleaning power, using high-pressure water streams to flush away soft stoppages. Pulse technology helps the hose navigate tight bends and extends reach by reducing friction between the hose and pipe walls.
The unit is housed in a rugged, diamond-plate metal case measuring 24” L x 10-1/2” D x 11” H and weighs just 23 lb, making it easy to carry and maneuver in confined spaces. Safety features include a sensor to shut off the motor if water flow stops and a 3-wire Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter. Rubber feet on the carrying case protect surfaces in kitchens and bathrooms.
