Pay

Hourly Rate: $23.00 (Non‑Exempt)

Schedule

Part‑Time, up to 38 hours per week. Flexible hours, typically Monday‑Friday 12 p.m. – 8 p.m., with some weekends and evenings required.

About the Role

The Community Treatment Center (CTC) Advocate initiates, organizes, plans, develops, and implements direct services to assigned participants and their families. The role includes conducting at least one group per day and implementing a day‑treatment program focused on cognitive restructuring, teaching youth to replace irrational or antisocial thinking with prosocial thoughts. The position is site‑based and benefits from skill‑trade knowledge (e.g., carpentry, gardening, maintenance, culinary, electrical, mechanical). Evenings are required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group sessions.
• Assist participants with continuum of care treatment goals.
• Design and implement individualized program plans, assess participant needs, maintain service records, and communicate with relevant individuals, including preparing written communications such as discharge reports.
• Ensure each assigned participant receives an appropriate dosage level of the group curriculum.
• Assist participants and families with transportation as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with youth and families involved in the Juvenile Justice System.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience using an electronic health record (EHR) system is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance coverage.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking is a plus.
