Community Support Technician - Part - Time
About the Role
Universal MH/DD/SAS is seeking a dependable, compassionate Community Support Technician to provide one-on-one Community Living and Supports and Respite services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. There are several positions open at this time. In this role, you will help the person supported build independence, participate in the community, and work toward personal goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support in home and community settings.
- Assist with daily personal needs while promoting dignity, choice, and independence.
- Teach and reinforce habilitative and independent-living skills.
- Support participation in meaningful community activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
