About the role
The Community Support Specialist will provide support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities
- Provide companionship and social interaction
- Help with medication management
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and family members
- Ensure safety and security of individuals
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- Passion for supporting individuals with disabilities
Skills
- Basic computer skills
- First aid/CPR certification preferred
