Community Support Professional - Intensive - Regional Mobile Crisis Services (NRV, Blue Ridge, Mt. Rogers Area) ($2,500 Sign on Bonus)

About the role

The Community Support Professional provides direct intensive community crisis stabilization and prevention supports to individuals diagnosed with behavioral health diagnoses served by the Region III Regional Mobile Crisis Team. Also assists with the development of and staff training in individualized behavior support plans. Works as part of the Regional Mobile Crisis team to ensure services and resources are coordinated among providers as needed to help individuals served live and participate optimally in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct intensive community crisis stabilization and prevention supports to individuals diagnosed with behavioral health diagnoses served by the Region III Regional Mobile Crisis Team.
• Affords assistance in the development of and staff training in individualized behavior support plans.
• Collaborates with the Regional Mobile Crisis team to coordinate services and resources among providers to support individuals in living and participating optimally in the community.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with at least a Bachelor's Degree in special education, social work, psychology, or approved human services related field is preferred.
• Current registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a QMHP-A and/or QMHP-C is required.

• Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
