Responsibilities
- Plan social postings for official Black Desert social channels and interact with players on the platforms
- Create or assist in creating visual assets and copywriting for social postings
- Respond to live game issues that occur in-game and write up appropriate notices on the forum and social channels when necessary
- Create event plans for the player communities and execute them during live service
- Work closely with the Content Production team to create community content (ex: short-form videos)
- Work closely with Live Service Specialists, Customer Support, and other Community Specialists/Managers to solicit feedback and suggestions for game improvement from the community
- Maintain regular monitoring of live-service issues and player feedback
- Maintain regular monitoring of live-streaming channels and social channels, and work closely with partner influencers
- Coordinate and support the community moderators to uphold community guidelines and enhance player interactions
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years of work experience in the video game industry, especially in community management, customer support, QA, or related fields
- Experience in social media management (Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge and gameplay of MMORPG games
- Prior experience interacting with gaming communities (forums, social media user groups, etc.)
- Experience in social content creation and posting, calendar publishing, asset creation, copywriting, reporting, and analytics
- Strong customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong written communication skills for announcements or forum notices, with a great sense of humor
- Able to quickly problem solve, communicate, and deliver the best results in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and grow
- Professional and mature demeanor, along with strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives and priorities
