COMMUNITY SERVICES ASSOCIATE B/PEER RECOVERY SPECIALIST, IST - CHARLOTTESVILLE (FULL TIME)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supportive services to persons with serious mental illnesses living in apartments or other housing arrangements.
• Promote recovery, wellness, self-advocacy, development of natural supports, self-awareness and values.
• Maintain community living skills to assist consumers in remaining psychiatrically stable.
• Utilize personal peer experience to engage, motivate, and support ACT consumers.

Qualifications

• Valid Virginia Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• Certificate of valid personal automobile insurance for business use of a personal car.
• Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) or obtain certification within the first year of employment.
• Ability to perform CPR/First Aid interventions.
• Life experience with services for mental illnesses.

Pay

Hourly Salary Range: GRADE 8 (Non-Credentialed): $19.11 - $28.66 per hour; GRADE 9 (Credentialed): $21.02 - $31.53 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time (Non-Exempt) 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with possible rotating evening and weekend shifts.
