Requirements

• Currently a GTA member
• Meeting and/or Exceeding Standards per GTA contract
• Minimum of two years working in current building

Qualifications

• Preference given to GTA members with proven leadership skills and experience in the building

Responsibilities

This role is a chance to be at the heart of our school's Community Schools strategy—helping build the strategy, support students and families, and ensure a thriving school culture. As a Liaison, you will:

• Be eligible to voucher for up to 20 hours of additional paid work via extra work form at the professional rate, during the school year (before/after school/summer)
• Learn more about the Community Schools strategy
• Collaborate with and support the Community Schools Site Coordinator (full-time Center for Youth employee assigned to our school)
• Be a cheerleader and champion for community schools throughout the building
