Job Summary
Darlington Borough Council is seeking to appoint a Community Safety Information Officer within our Community Safety Team. The role involves providing high-quality, robust data for the Community Safety Service, developing reporting systems, and conducting research to support and develop the Community Safety Service.

Responsibilities
The Community Safety Information Officer will:
- Provide high quality, robust data for the Community Safety Service
- Develop reporting systems
- Conduct research to support and develop the Community Safety Service
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of community safety principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in a relevant field such as criminology, social sciences, or a related discipline.
Skills
The successful candidate should possess:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with data management software
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Pay and Schedule
The starting salary for this role is £32,061 to £34,434 per annum, with a salary band of £30,001 to £40,000. The post type is permanent and the hours per week are full time.
