About the Role

Indiana University Health Medical Group, in partnership with the Indiana University School of Medicine, is seeking a radiologist for the Community Division in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to combine high-quality community-based imaging services with the resources, collaboration, and academic mission of one of the nation's largest medical schools and Indiana's premier healthcare system. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnostic radiology services while contributing to clinical excellence, multidisciplinary care, and the educational mission of IU Health and the IU School of Medicine.

The Department of Radiology hosts robust fellowship and residency training programs, and the candidate will have occasional opportunities to work effectively with and provide teaching for radiology residents and neuroradiology fellows.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality interpretation of diagnostic imaging studies, including:
    • General Radiography
    • CT
    • MRI
    • Ultrasound
    • Mammography (if trained/certified)
    • Nuclear Medicine (if trained/certified)
  • Deliver timely and accurate reports that support exceptional patient care.
  • Consult with referring physicians regarding imaging findings and recommendations.
  • Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and departmental initiatives.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology Residency
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Radiology
  • Licensed (or eligible) in the State of Indiana

About the Healthcare System
