About the role
The Health Research and Analytics (HRA) business line is seeking a full-time Community Program and Peer Network Coordinator (CPPNC) to support U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and evaluate resiliency-focused programs and services for assigned units and their families.
- Organize and oversee peer support networks and recruit, vet, and train peer support counselors.
- Collect and analyze data to support program assessments and develop targeted programming.
- Support family and career transition activities, implement social and psychological programs, and ensure effective communication and emergency response awareness.
- Communicate on behalf of the Command and maintain awareness of emergency response protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, human/social services or related field or equivalent experience.
- At least two years' experience coordinating social service education programs.
- Prior training or willingness to receive specialized training on peer support counseling, community resources, and referrals, and suicide prevention.
- Current knowledge of best practices and developments in peer support counseling and suicide prevention, and familiarity with DoD, Services, and community resources.
