Community Outreach Specialist

About The Position

We’re looking for an outgoing and organized Community Outreach Specialist to support local outreach, community engagement, and event initiatives throughout New York. In this role, you’ll connect with customers, community members, and local audiences through face-to-face communication, events, outreach activities, and community programs. You’ll provide information, answer questions, build relationships, and help increase awareness and participation in current initiatives. The Community Outreach Specialist will also work closely with marketing and event teams to coordinate outreach activities and create positive experiences within the communities we serve.

What You’ll Do

• Support community outreach and community engagement initiatives
• Engage directly with community members at local events, pop-ups, and outreach activities
• Provide information about programs, products, services, and current initiatives
• Build positive relationships with customers, attendees, community members, and local organizations
• Answer questions and connect individuals with relevant information and resources
• Support community events, workshops, informational sessions, and local activations
• Assist with event preparation, setup, on-site activities, and breakdown
• Organize outreach materials, signage, displays, and informational resources
• Communicate key campaign and organizational messaging clearly
• Gather feedback and insights from community members
• Track participation, engagement, and outreach activity
• Maintain organized records of contacts and event interactions
• Coordinate follow-up communication after events and outreach initiatives
• Collaborate with marketing, events, customer success, and other internal teams
• Help identify opportunities to increase community participation and brand awareness
