Community Outreach Coordinator

About the role

Indiana Treatment Centers is seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator to expand awareness of our programs and build strong referral partnerships throughout Columbus and the surrounding communities.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, healthcare providers, employers, behavioral health organizations, social service agencies, and community partners.
• Educate referral sources on Indiana Treatment Centers' programs and services.
• Identify opportunities to increase community awareness and patient referrals.
• Attend networking events, community meetings, health fairs, conferences, and outreach activities.
• Cook up facility tours and educational presentations for referral partners and community organizations.
• Cook up coordination with Admissions and Operations to ensure a seamless referral experience.
• Maintain regular communication with referral partners and provide exceptional customer service.
• Track outreach activities, referral trends, and business development efforts within the CRM.
• Aid with marketing initiatives, community engagement campaigns, and special events.
• Represent Indiana Treatment Centers professionally while promoting our mission and values.

Required Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in business development, healthcare marketing, community outreach, admissions, or relationship management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, healthcare, or human services.
• Existing relationships within the Columbus, South Central Indiana, or surrounding healthcare community.
• Experience using CRM or customer relationship management software.
• Knowledge of addiction treatment services and the referral process.
