About the Role

The Network Theory Applied Research Institute (NTARI) is seeking 36 volunteers for the Community Orchestration Software Development Sprint (COSDS) as Frontend/Backend Developers. This is a remote opportunity running from August 11, 2026, to May 15, 2027. Developers will work on full-stack projects under the guidance of senior developers and assigned management teams.

Responsibilities

• Write respective portions of the project’s full stack.
• Collaborate with a team of senior developers and project managers.
• Utilize provided tools and resources to contribute to project development.

Requirements

• Possess or be in pursuit of a bachelor's degree or higher in frontend, backend, or full-stack software development.
• Complete the Volunteer Orientation course at https://ntari.org/volunteer.
• Commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week for 9 months.
• Applicants who complete the 1733 course may select their project on a first-come, first-served basis.

Qualifications

Must be pursuing or hold a bachelor's degree or higher in frontend, backend, or full-stack software development.
