Responsibilities
- Administer leasing procedures to meet/exceed budget goals, control expenses, and accurately report payroll.
- Ensure timely rent collection and initiate Unlawful Detainer processes when necessary.
- Inspect apartment units during check-in and check-out to protect owner assets and collect appropriate deductions from deposits.
- Manage and develop residential staff, providing training, motivation, and ongoing education.
- Maintain property appearance and upkeep by ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are met and conducting daily exterior and interior inspections.
- Provide customer service by maintaining resident satisfaction and being available for emergencies.
- Process leasing forms, maintenance orders, and rent collection, and be available for on-call emergencies as needed.
- Ensure the property is in a neat, clean, and well-maintained condition.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Marketing and/or business preferred.
- One to three years of residential management or related experience, or a combination of education and experience.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
- If driving for company business, must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable motor vehicle record, company insurance, reliable transportation, and personal auto liability insurance.
