Key Responsibilities
- Market and lease available apartments in full compliance with Fair Housing laws
- Pre-lease units and maintain an active waitlist of prospective residents
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong resident relationships
- Manage rent collection, deposits, and late fees using OneSite software
- Screen and qualify prospective residents
- Oversee preparation of vacant units, including renovation coordination
- Maintain accurate records, including: Traffic reports, Applications, Leases, Notices, Work orders
- Manage property budgets and oversee expenditures
- Supervise maintenance staff and vendor relationships to ensure property standards are maintained
- Respond to resident concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Enforce community rules and company policies while maintaining positive resident relations
- Communicate effectively with Regional Directors and leadership regarding property performance and operational needs
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of multifamily property management experience
- Minimum of 1 year in a management or leadership role with proven leasing and renewal success
- Likely to have LIHTC experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (OneSite preferred)
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to balance strong resident relations with policy enforcement
- Team-oriented attitude with strong leadership skills
