Community Life Associate - Memory Care

About the role

At Watermark Retirement Communities, we are looking for an experienced Community Life Associate who will do much more than what the title reflects. Our Community Life team comes from a variety of backgrounds including theater, art, music, fitness, education, event planning and recreation. We are looking for talented people who can plan and execute a well-rounded, refined program that will give our residents the opportunity to continue to thrive. Responsibilities

• Plan and execute a comprehensive Community Life program that provides residents with opportunities to thrive
• Support a wellness centered program focused on resident health and well-being
• Provide extraordinary services while developing meaningful relationships with residents
• Represent Watermark's operating principles and make a positive impact

Requirements

• 2 years experience in preparing and implementing Activities (preferred)
• Able to work weekends and holidays
• Passion for seniors
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer literate

Qualifications

• Degree in therapeutic recreation or related field (a plus)
• Experience in resident programming (preferred)
