Job Summary

The Community Liaison & Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with referral sources, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to drive awareness and client growth. This role blends community outreach, relationship-building, and local marketing efforts to support the agency’s success.

Marketing/Networking Specialist responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources such as assisted living communities, senior centers, hospitals, and rehabilitation facilities
  • Conduct regular in-person visits and check-ins with community partners to establish trust and increase brand awareness
  • Identify and develop new partnership opportunities within the local senior care community
  • Represent FirstLight at networking events, health fairs, and community activities
  • Cook up and coordinate volunteer opportunities to strengthen community presence
  • Track outreach efforts, referrals, and follow-ups using internal systems
  • Aid with initial client inquiries and support the intake process as needed
  • Maintain organized records of marketing activities, contacts, and campaigns
  • Collaborate with leadership to execute local marketing strategies
  • Support the development and distribution of marketing materials (flyers, brochures, social content)
  • Adhere to all FirstLight policies and procedures
  • Manage outreach schedule independently and report on weekly activities
  • Set your own schedule while meeting outreach and relationship goals

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • (College preferred)
  • Previous experience in networking, outreach, sales, or marketing
  • Experience in senior care, healthcare, or home care
  • (A plus)
  • Familiarity with the local community and ability to build connections
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, scheduling tools)
