Community Liaison-Home Care

About the role

Stella Maris is expanding its Home Care department in Howard County, Maryland. The Community Liaison will join the Business Development team to support marketing, outreach, and business development for home care, hospice, and personal care services.

Responsibilities

• Generate referral sources from the assigned territory, including hospitals, physicians, social workers, retirement communities, skilled nursing facilities, and the general community.
• Manage home care, hospice, and personal care business development plans and maintain referral goals.
• Maintain current contracted relationships and develop new relationships to increase referrals.
• Collaborate with available resources to assess and identify opportunities that meet patient needs.
• Meet with potential clients and families to discuss Stella Maris Community Based Services.
• Develop a marketing plan for community‑based services and engage with the referral base.
• Host and attend marketing events for current vendors and potential new vendors.

Requirements

• Prior experience in home health or hospice (required).
• Prior experience in sales or marketing (a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in marketing, business, or a related health field (years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required).
• Ability to travel locally to promote Stella Maris Home Care, Hospice, and Personal Care.

Pay

USD $36.25 – $55.80 per hour.
