This role offers a unique opportunity to grow your career while making a significant impact on our business and helping clients achieve the dream of homeownership.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain active knowledge of Chase home lending products, local housing assistance programs, and grants for down payment or closing cost assistance.
  • Promote mortgage products to existing Chase customers and the broader community, engaging with a pipeline of customers who are 'not mortgage ready' through education and counseling until they are prepared to apply, while ensuring compliance with lending guidelines and Chase policies.
  • Act as the internal and external mortgage expert, conducting productive activities to drive mortgage loan originations with external community relationships.
  • Partner with branch teams by providing product and service training, meeting with their customers, and introducing new clients to bankers for additional products and services.
  • Create an outstanding customer experience using centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Serve as the single point of contact throughout the mortgage loan origination process, addressing customer concerns, explaining financial terms, coordinating with partners, troubleshooting obstacles, and tracking progress from initial engagement to closing.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
  • Five years of proven mortgage sales experience, including strong product, credit, and mortgage process knowledge, and an understanding of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines, as well as unique requirements and low-down payment products. (Regional Management approval required for internal Home Lending Advisors with less than one year in their position.)
  • Knowledge of the local real estate market and the ability to build new external referral sources and networks (e.g., realtors, nonprofits, community groups, civic/professional organizations).
  • Proven track record of customer satisfaction, demonstrated through customer satisfaction scores and feedback.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills for community outreach, homeowner education, and collaboration with nonprofits, community groups, consumer advocacy groups, and civic/professional organizations.
  • Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment.
