About the role
The Tribal Health Department is seeking nurses for Level 1 and Level 2 positions. Level 1 requires an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); Level 2 requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Both levels require a valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse license, at least one year of direct patient care experience, a valid Montana driver’s license, and an existing or new National Provider Number.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- ASN required for Level 1; BSN required for Level 2.
- Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license.
- One year of nursing experience providing direct patient care.
- Valid Montana Driver’s License with ability to operate a vehicle.
- Existing or new National Provider Number.
- Successful applicant must pass a pre‑hire drug test (Testing Designated Position) and serve a mandatory six‑month probationary period if not already employed by the Tribes.
Qualifications
- Experience using electronic health records (EPIC) and Microsoft Office preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers certification preferred; if not held, must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- For Level 2: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- For Level 2: Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification (AMB‑BC) or Home Health Nursing Certification (RN‑BC) preferred.
- Preferred at least one year of Home Health Nursing experience (Level 2).
Pay
Salary is negotiable based on experience (DOE).
